Kari Sorin used to be an adventurer, much like the party. She wants what’s best for her and her friends, and doesn’t particularly care about others.

Kari feels at home on a ship. Adventures often took her to fight the most dangerous pirates with her comrades. It was Kari’s job to severely damage the enemies ship before it was boarded. Anyone on the deck was usually dead before then.

Kari’s final days of adventuring were marked by death and misery. As they had many times before, the crew set out to do what they believed to be good, and whole. Kari had believed in these morals for a long enough time to become chaotic good. She had just entered a relationship with the sword sage William Sea-sword, only to have the battle go horribly wrong. They didn’t anticipate for the pirates to have a spell caster of their own. Kari’s ship was destroyed. William Sea-sword to died to save her in the battle along with the rest of the party. Kari barely survived in the freezing water and was lucky enough to be rescued by a merchant ship. She almost gave up adventuring then and there, but one last objective stayed in her mind… Revenge. Kari hunted down and killed the crew of the ship responsible for her loves death, not because of a mislead version of justice, but because she wanted them to suffer. Her heart turned much darker and her morals changed back to caring for very few people.

Kari found no meaning in life after Williams death. She makes her living by crafting magical items (meaning the party may consider going there to get them). Kari lives in Moon watch.
